My Mazda 6 was driven off the lot on September 27, 2003 with a full tank of gas courtesy of the dealership. The first time I filled it, the odometer read 412 miles. My commute to work was about 31 miles one way. After one year the odometer read 15790. At two years it was 31437. When I was laid off from Ericsson, a month shy of three years, it was at about 42500.
