Southern California Edison has a facility that occupies an entire city block at Bake and Irvine. That’s near my work and I frequently walk by the back gate on Parker. One day last summer there was a sign on the gate saying KEEP OUT. HELIPORT IN OPERATION. There was, however, no sign of a helicopter at the time. Today, here it was! It flew slowly over the facility, then circled around once before finally landing.
