Pat’s computer has *always* been very slow to boot, requiring 3-4 minutes. The screen stays black so long before finally switching from text to graphics that you fear it has frozen. When her wireless keyboard died recently, I looked at the BIOS and was surprised to see a floppy drive in the boot sequence since it has no floppy drive.
